Guy Gerber’s first exhibition, Invisible Trails, highlights the narrow horizon between glamor and solitude.

“Trains are crossing on invisible rails , words are whispered and they leave no trail.”

Multiple mirrors reflecting and projecting, with light cloning itself for us to step into as the experience is increasingly transforming into a narrow horizon; a fading consummation of energy. The exhibition includes a series of fifteen videography works taken through the lens of Gerber, each paired with unique music composed by the artist. Based upon Gerber’s experiences of solitude in hotels while performing around the world, countless questions turn into countless reflections, a light of self growth cloned on the wall in search of destiny.

In pursuit of authentic digital art, each artwork was created using only a digital camera without any computer editing. The audio elements of the artworks, which were produced in hotel rooms in Ibiza, Paris, NYC and Los Angeles, will create the foundation for a complete album that Gerber intends to release in 2024.

Audio and visual form the basis of our conceptual reality; a chance to explore and play in the multi-layered vibrations which illuminate our pathway forward exploring energy and life alike. From the inside, though, it can appear quite differently. As the conductors, the meaning of the experience dissipates into abstraction while the act of guiding others to spaces outside of one’s natural reality consumes and drains the lives of the artists at the heart of these creative works.

Silencio in Paris, the brainchild of film-director David Lynch, has always provided a space which was meticulously designed to bring together different disciplines in the arts as they culminate into a personal connection between the performer and the audience. Guy Gerber, in expansion upon his artistic expression, has organized an event to showcase a selection of his exhibition, followed by a live performance incorporating visual elements mixing with audio which will be shared with a select group of esteemed guests. A life on the road engaging in action, GG will create a deeper connection to the crowds Silencio notoriously attracts, evolving into an unforgettable time which connects us all through experiencing the present moment.
